They don’t understand her self-sovereignty, her connection to her sexuality,
her understanding of death as the birth to new life.
They can’t resonate with her daily prayers to Kali.
Or that she goes into ceremony when she is on her period.
When they found out she married herself, they told her she’s a narcissist.
Men would court her, only to see if they could tame her.
The Red Feminine is everything patriarchal society has named unclean.
Yet she is what is going to save this world.
What others are calling “trouble,” is a misunderstanding.
It is buying into the patriarchal,
puritanical bullshit that colors our reality.
The Red Feminine is designed to see the holes in our system to be the change.
She is fierce. She is self-directed.
She is in service to no one, but the Goddess who lives within herself.
